About
What inspired you to pursue a law degree?
I have considered going to law school since I was a young child. As an undergraduate, I wanted to be a historian but was always fascinated with the law. Several times since completing my degrees I have considered returning to law school, and I finally decided to take the plunge. One of my passions is making complex ideas, notions, and rules accessible to all. Obtaining a law degree will provide me with even greater opportunities to assist those who lack understanding as they navigate the complexities of legal situations.
Why did you choose OU Law?
I chose OU law due to its reputation for providing an outstanding education. As a native of central Oklahoma, it also was a natural choice. My sons are pretty excited that their mom is going to be a Sooner. The oldest might forgive me for having a degree from OSU.
What is something most people don't know about you?
Most people are surprised to find that I have a keen sense of humor. I am reserved and quiet when I first meet people and present to be serious and all business.
