University of Oklahoma College of Law Now Accepting GRE for Admission

NORMAN — The University of Oklahoma College of Law will now accept GRE scores from applicants in lieu of LSAT scores when applying for law school admission. This decision, which has been approved by the OU Board of Regents, Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and OU College of Law faculty, provides applicants with greater flexibility when considering a legal education.

Knight Foundation Grant to Support OU Law Professor Evelyn Aswad’s Research Project on Internet Governance

The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation today announced a $50,000 investment to fund a University of Oklahoma College of Law project led by Evelyn Mary Aswad, OU law professor and Herman G. Kaiser Chair in International Law. The grant supports comparative research between the First Amendment and international human rights law’s protections for speech online.

Associate Dean Liesa Richter Awarded George Lynn Cross Research Professorship

Liesa Richter, associate dean for academics at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, William J. Alley Professor of Law and Thomas P. Hester Presidential Professor of Law, was awarded the George Lynn Cross Research Professorship, the University’s highest research and creative activity honor, which recognizes “a faculty member who has demonstrated outstanding leadership over a period of years in his or her field of learning or creative activity.”
