Academics

The University of Oklahoma College of Law, one of the nation’s great public law schools, offers an innovative education in an encouraging environment. Guided by world-class legal scholars and practicing attorneys, you will gain practical experience, learn in state-of-the-art facilities, and be challenged to pursue your passion.

OU Law Academics

The OU College of Law offers J.D., LL.M., and M.L.S. degrees, plus a variety of dual degree and certificate opportunities.

Choose from a dozen concentrations, including our specialties in indigenous peoples law and oil and gas, natural resources, and energy law. You can also enrich your experience by adding one of four certificate options or pursuing a dual degree—choose an M.B.A, master’s of public health, or other area of study.

The John B. Turner LL.M. Program allows you to further your legal specialization in energy and natural resources, indigenous peoples, or U.S. legal studies.

Our M.L.S. program offers a flexible, online option for those seeking a law-related career in the nonprofit, government, or business sectors. Specialize in indigenous peoples law; energy and natural resources law; international business law; or healthcare law.
