About

Keith Needham joined the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2016 as an Adjunct Professor. He is a proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma three times over, obtaining his B.B.A. from the Price College of Business in 2005 (Energy Management & Finance with Special Distinction), his M.B.A. in 2008 (with Honors), and his J.D. from the OU College of Law in 2012 (with Honors).

His Professional career includes time as a landman with Devon Energy Corporation (2004-2008) and SandRidge Energy, Inc. (2008-2011). In 2012, Keith became the owner and President of Stable Energy Land Services, LLC, a full-service energy land brokerage he co-founded and based in Oklahoma City. He also served as Senior Partner with Needham & Mason, PLLC, an energy-focused law firm that he co-founded in 2012 and that is also based in Oklahoma City. Keith is now the owner/founder of The Needham Companies, LLC, a multi-faceted and diversified oil and gas services holding company.  Keith has been a Certified Professional Landman (CPL) through the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) since December 2009, making him one of the youngest AAPL members to ever earn such distinction. He has also been a member of the Oklahoma City Association of Professional Landmen (OCAPL) since 2004, Keith is an Oklahoma-licensed attorney and a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association’s (OBA) Mineral Law Section. Throughout his decade of experience in the oil and gas industry, Keith has worked in various roles for projects based in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, New Mexico, Colorado, Arkansas, and Wyoming.
