Law Review Write-On Competition Lunch and Learn

April 24, 2018 | 12:00 PM

Bell Courtroom

Dear Class of 2020,
My name is Phoebe Mitchell and I am the Research Editor for the Oklahoma Law Review. My job is to encourage each of you to consider joining one of OU's Law Reviews or Journals through the Law Review Write-on Competition.
The Oklahoma Law Review (OLR), the American Indian Law Review (AILR), and the Oil and Gas, Natural Resources, and Energy Journal (ONE-J) will be hosting an information session Tuesday, April 24, at 12:00 p.m. in the Bell Courtroom. Lunch will be provided. The session will answer a lot of questions you might have: What is Law Review? How do I get on a Law Review? What does Law Review entail? Why should I care about Law Review? Collen Steffan (Editor-in-Chief of OLR), Alyssa Lankford (EIC of AILR), Collin McCarthy (EIC of ONE-J), and I will be at the information session to answer these questions and any other questions you may have.
Attendance is highly encouraged for those interested in being on a Law Review or Journal next year. Law Review experience can be a benefit to anyone involved, so even if you're on the fence about joining a law review or journal, I encourage you to come and hear about the academic and professional benefits of joining OLR, AILR, or ONE-J!
Please RSVP here: I look forward to seeing you!
Phoebe Mitchell
Research Editor | Oklahoma Law Review
