Professor Evelyn Aswad, Herman G. Kaiser Chair at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, has been appointed to the newly created Oversight Board , which will review certain content decisions by Facebook and Instagram.
Dr. Karen Korematsu, daughter of Fred Korematsu and renowned civil rights activist, joined with the OU Law community Monday, Oct. 7 for a screening of the award-winning documentary "And Then They Came for Us," which details the extreme racial injustice and human rights abuses committed by the United States in incarcerating over 110,000 Japanese Americans during World War II.

OAWL is launching a new Sisters In Law mentoring program to pair women law students with practicing women attorneys. The program is designed to help women law students become successful legal professionals, specifically, to help them navigate the unique challenges particular to women attorneys.
