Kelsey Frobisher Schremmer is an Assistant Professor in the Legal Research & Writing Program at the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
Prior to joining the faculty in 2026, Professor Schremmer practiced law for over a decade in state and federal court, at both trial and appellate levels. In private practice, she gained experience in civil rights, personal injury, and contract litigation, as well as bankruptcy law. In addition, Professor Schremmer served as a term clerk to the Honorable Toby Crouse of the United States District Court for the District of Kansas and as a civil litigator with the Office of the New Mexico Attorney General.
Professor Schremmer graduated summa cum laude with her B.A. from Oklahoma Christian University, where she was named the 2012 Outstanding English Graduate. She earned her J.D. with highest honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she received the 2015 Professional Responsibility Award and was inducted into the Orders of the Coif, Barristers, and Scribes. Professor Schremmer is admitted to practice in Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
