About

Professor Granston is a Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where he has spent more than 25 years handling and supervising health care fraud matters.  He also serves as the Civil Division’s Deputy Designated Agency Ethics Official. 

Before joining the Justice Department, Mr. Granston worked for the law firm of Covington & Burling.  He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable David Ebel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit Court and the Honorable Jan Dubois of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
