About

Rebekah C. Taylor joined the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2017.  She teaches and supervises Licensed Legal Interns in the Criminal division of the Legal Clinic. 

Rebekah has been a licensed attorney since 2007. She received her undergraduate degree from Oklahoma Christian University, and her law degree from the University of Oklahoma. For the first year of her law practice, Rebekah was an assistant district attorney with the Cleveland County District Attorney’s office, where she was the lead attorney on the general misdemeanor docket. 

In her time in private practice, her criminal law experience included defending clients against criminal charges in city and district courts across Oklahoma, as well as expungements and pardons of qualified prior charges. Rebekah also handled complex family law matters, including divorces, paternity cases, adult and child guardianships, protective order cases, and juvenile deprived cases. 

Rebekah is a member of the Cleveland County Bar Association and serves on the Cleveland County Executive Board.  She is also a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, and is a graduate of the bar association’s fifth Leadership Academy. Outside of her activities with the local bar associations, she is a member of USA Judo and served as the president of the Oklahoma Judo Association.
