About
Rita M. Flagler is a Senior Title Attorney with an International Title Insurance Company, with her area of practice over title examination of surface rights in Oklahoma real property.
From 1991 through 2021, she was a Partner with Flagler & Flagler, P.C., in Norman, Oklahoma, where her practice focused primarily on real estate law, title examination, and probate.
Since the Fall of 2016, Ms. Flagler has taught a course for the University of Oklahoma College of Law as to Title Examination of surface rights of Oklahoma real property.
Ms. Flagler is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and Cleveland County Bar Association. She is past Chair of the Real Property Law Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association (1993-1994) and a member of the Title Standards Committee for a number of years. In those roles she has researched and co-authored a number of title examination standards.
