About
Professor Rowland is the Director of Academic and Bar Support at OU Law as well as the Director of the Paralegal Studies Program. Prior to working at OU Law, she was in private practice in Oklahoma City. Her practice experience is in the areas of transactional law and mediation. In 2006, she began developing and teaching courses for the OU College of Liberal Studies/College of Professional and Continuing Studies and OU Law’s Paralegal Studies Program.
Professor Rowland is admitted to practice law in Oklahoma. She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association (Dispute Resolution Section), American Bar Association, Association of Academic Support Educators, and Association of American Law Schools (Section on Academic Support). She holds certifications issued by the Supreme Court of Oklahoma in the areas of civil, commercial, employment, and family/domestic mediation. Ms. Rowland has volunteered with the Early Settlement Mediation Program and sits on the Oklahoma City Community College Business Advisory Committee.
