Founded by OU President Joseph Harroz, Jr. who formerly was the President of publicly traded healthcare company, OU College of Law is proud to offer a graduate degree in Healthcare Law.  This program, named the Masters of Legal Studies (M.L.S.) in Healthcare Law, was built specifically for non-lawyers, is aimed at healthcare industry professionals that desire a stronger foundation in law and policy.  This M.L.S. program offers an accelerated, online program that can be completed within 15 months. 

To ensure that this program meets the needs of the healthcare industry, OU College of Law has appointed Professor Stacey Tovino as program lead and created a Healthcare Advisory Board made up of Healthcare CEOs, lawyers leading healthcare practices at major law firms and general counsels from healthcare companies.  Together, the faculty has built a curriculum that will provide a comprehensive legal foundation that will be applicable to compliance officers, procurement staff, human resource professionals, marketing professionals, advocates, and many others across the healthcare landscape.
