About

Professor Currin-Moore began her career as a kindergarten teacher and over the course of her 30 years in education, she has experienced everything from writing lesson plans to expulsion hearings and everything in between.

 A 2009 graduate of The University of Oklahoma College of Law, Professor Currin-Moore began her legal career with a private law firm in Texas focusing on general education law, special education, employment, and contracts. Professor Currin-Moore then worked for the Oklahoma State Department of Education as an Executive Director where her focus was on teacher and leader training and evaluation. Professor Currin-Moore has also been a Legal Analyst for Oklahoma City Public Schools with a concentration in investigations and policy. As a Director for the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Professor Currin-Moore developed programming for law students centering on career development, professionalism, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Currently, Professor Currin-Moore is an associate attorney, with Walsh Gallegos where she leads the Oklahoma City office. Her primary practice areas are Special Education, Employment, and Student Discipline. She is also an adjunct professor at The University of Oklahoma College of Law teaching Education Law. Professor Currin-Moore is very active in her community, volunteering on several Boards emphasizing the importance of education. Professor Currin-Moore lives in Oklahoma City with her husband, her two boys, and their dog.
