In fiscal year 2022, OU Law giving societies have provided a combined total of 172 scholarships, 33 awards, 49 fellowships, and 9 stipends.

Judge Thomas Brett Endowed Scholarship Fund

The J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation was created in 2022 in honor of esteemed alumnus Judge Thomas Brett. This $2 million endowed scholarship is for area students wishing to attend OU Law.

Ada Lois Sipuel Fisher Chair in Civil Rights, Race and Justice in Law

An anonymous family foundation fully endowed the Ada Lois Sipuel Fisher Chair with a generous donation. They've pledged to match any additional donations dollar for dollar, up to $90,000, to further support the fund.

The Lou and Connie Miller Foundation Pledge

In 2022, the Lou and Connie Miller Charitable Foundation committed an additional $1 million to support the law school's mission. This pledge comes after their previous $1 million donation, which funded an endowed professorship and a new faculty collaboration center.

Contribute to a Scholarship

Rick Moore Endowed Scholarship

In fiscal year 2020, the College of Law received a record-breaking gift of nearly $5 million from late alumnus Rick Moore ('85). It was the second-largest donation in the college's history. Moore, who passed away in October 2019, combined his accounting and law degrees throughout his career. In gratitude, the Rick Moore Endowed Scholarship was established. This provides a tuition-free three-year OU Law education for eligible students with an accounting undergraduate degree from OU. As of fiscal year 2021, the scholarship has awarded an impactful total of $30,000.
