The University of Oklahoma College of Law is proud to announce that Jessica Tueller will join the faculty as an associate professor of law in the fall of 2025. Professor Tueller writes and teaches in the areas of family law; contracts; gender, sexuality, and the law; and international law. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in the Georgia Law Review, the Tulane Law Review, and the Yale Journal of Law & Feminism, among others.
“The first academic conference I ever attended was hosted by OU Law and I was immediately enchanted,” said Jessica Tueller. “I had never imagined any faculty could be so enormously kind while also engaging deeply and critically with intellectual arguments. I am thrilled that I will get to be part of an institution that is as committed to building community among its faculty, staff, and students, as it is to rigorous teaching and scholarship.”
Prior to joining the College of Law, Professor Tueller was a Forrester Fellow at Tulane University Law School. She has served as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Public Policy at Wesleyan University, worked as a clinical supervisor at the University Network for Human Rights, and completed a Robina Fellowship at the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.
Professor Tueller earned her J.D. from Yale Law School, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Journal of Law & Feminism. She graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College with an A.B. in History and Literature.
“We are thrilled to have Professor Tueller join the College of Law faculty,” said Jon Lee, Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Research. “Beyond her impressive credentials and experience advocating for the rights of individuals and families, she brings an infectious energy into the classroom and cares deeply about her students.”
Welcome, Professor Tueller!
